The Historic District is very walkable with lots of interesting restaurants, shops, historic buildings and mini-park squares in every direction. Paid tourist trolleys and the free city DOT trolley help you get around and absorb the atmosphere. We enjoyed the “Savannah Historic and Secret East Side Food Tour.” Great food, fun and interesting history perspectives in a small group walking tour.
