Echo Bluff State Park is located in south central Missouri near the town of Eminence on Highway 19. It is a fairly new park with first class improvements. Savannah, Georgia The Historic District is very walkable with lots of interesting restaurants, shops, historic buildings and mini-park squares in every direction. Our visit to San Antonio, Texas. Stayed on the Riverwalk in downtown. Loved the historic missions and the Riverwalk shops and restaurants. Rode the Rio water taxi several times. Lucky to be there when a live music show was performing at the Arneson Theatre on the Riverwalk.
Our July 2016 visit to Rock Harbor, Isle Royale National Park in North Lake Superior. The Rock Harbor Lodge is a great base to explore the Isle Royale wilderness on guided excursions, ranger outings or on your own. Rock Harbor is a 7 hour ferry ride from Minnesota or a 4+ hour ride from Michigan.
