After an Alaska cruise, we enjoyed 3 days in Vancouver. Could have stayed several weeks to see what we wanted to see. Granville Island was a great home base with an easy walk to lots of shops, restaurants and transportation connections. Stanley Park was just beautiful with the breathtaking Seawall bike path and heavily wooded peninsula right next to downtown. Multiple places to rent a bicycle and ride along the Seawall. The Capilano Suspension Bridge Park was awesome with its views and thrilling walkways. They even had a free shuttle bus from downtown Vancouver. With all the transportation options on water, rail and bus, you may not need a car to get around. An all day pass on the Aquabus mini-ferry in False Creek harbor was a great value.
